Putting an End to Human Trafficking

One of the aspects that the United Nations focuses on is trying to put and end to human trafficking. The definition of human trafficking would be the sale of human beings and using them or forcing them to do things against their will. Human trafficking is a colossal human rights issue globally. This is a very heartbreaking human rights issue that is continuing to grow instead of diminish. More than half of the human beings which are sold due to human trafficking are actually children under the age of eighteen. Many of these children being enslaved are often sold and made to perform forced prostitution, work in sweatshops, and sometimes becoming literal slaves. These poor children have all of their basic human rights stripped away without even having a say in anything.
